150 x 150mm Post F7 Cypress Sawn is a heavy-duty structural post milled from naturally durable cypress, rated to the F7 structural grade. Cypress is prized for its natural resistance to termites and decay without chemical treatment, making it a popular choice for exposed posts in pergolas, carports and fencing where a chemical-free product is preferred.
At 150 x 150mm, this post suits larger structures and longer spans between posts than the smaller cypress sizes in our range. As with any in-ground application, additional protection (such as a post shoe or concrete footing) is recommended to maximise service life regardless of the timber’s natural durability.
